THREE CLIFFS BAY

 Some refer to this beach as one of the most beautiful beaches! Part of the stunning Gower Coast Path, this particular beach provides stunning views of the sand dunes, shorelines and the main event- the three limestone cliffs. A beautiful and exciting walk is included to reach this beach involving using large stepping stones to cross a river. A wonderful and must visit gem of Britain.

MUMBLES PIER

Oozing with rich history, this pier holds its place as one of Swansea’s most iconic landmarks. Take the family along with you for a perfect day out rain or shine as there is plenty for everyone to do. Free for the public to walk along and enjoy, this pier was structured over 100 years ago! The lifeboat house at the end allows admiring of the spectacular panoramic views, or find fun at the arcades which also has a mini bowling alley. DYLAN THOMAS CENTRE

Dylan Thomas is a Swansea born historical figure. The renowned figure is famous for his writing and often made affectionately made reference to the city. The centre is a permanent exhibition highlighting the life and work of Dylan, with interactive activities, preserved original pieces and learning spaces suitable for adults and children. Carry on through Swansea and visit other key attractions dedicated to Dylan Thomas such as his birthplace or enjoy a drink in some of his favourite pubs like the Upland Tavern.

OYSTERMOUTH CASTLE

This stunning castle can be easily reached from Swansea city centre by catching a bus. Situated on a 40ft high ridge, the castle provides breath-taking views over the village of Mumbles and Swansea Bay. With building remain dating back to the 12th century; you won’t be short of rich history and information provided by the helpful volunteer staff. There’s fun for everyone with plenty of hidden stairways and tunnels to explore or hold your breath as you step over the glass floor above the chapel.
